Khawaja Fakhar is an experienced Clinical Psychologist, Country Representative- Global Network for Violence Prevention (GNVP) with over 10 years of professional experience in adult mental health. He hold an MS degree in Clinical Psychology. He specializes in psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and counseling for adults facing emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. His therapeutic approach draws on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while integrating psychodynamic and mindfulness techniques to support lasting change.
Fakhar has worked across hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, education systems, and development organizations. Currently serving as Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Irshad Memorial Hospital, Islamabad, he previously led clinical services as Clinical Director at Small Steps Learning Centre, where he provided therapy, conducted assessments, supervised cases, and delivered professional training for staff.

He has also contributed to national mental health initiatives with organizations such as GIZ, where he conducted over 200 individual counseling sessions, led workshops, and offered group supervision for staff and returning migrants. As a Master Trainer at Shifa Foundation, he implemented ICC-T interventions for teachers and conducted pre/post assessments. His earlier roles include work with UNODC and Colombo Plan projects on substance use disorders, along with clinical services in correctional and rehabilitation settings.
Fakhar brings extensive experience in adult psychodiagnostic testing, treatment planning, report writing, and conducting individual and family therapy. His clinical focus includes emotional regulation, anxiety, stress-related symptoms, and relationship dynamics.

Fluent in Urdu, English, and Punjabi, Fakhar offers in-person, video, and phone sessions, providing flexible and accessible care based on each client’s individual needs.
